12.10.09 Eulogy ... Seng Guat Neo (29th May, 1943 ~ 8th Oct, 2009)

Today is an end, but also a new beginning. As we close the chapter of our mum's life, we begin this blog to remember our mum in her greatest, funniest and many other moments in her living years.


Dear relatives & friends,

We have a special mum. We would like to share a special message with our mum and everyone.

Let's not mourn for the passing of Seng, our dearest mum - your sister, auntie, friend and colleague. But let's take this time to remember how she celebrated life and her enduring belief that it is always a blessing to give.

Among the things she had given us, she left us a legacy of gratitude for life and attitude of optimism. She was the most spirited fighter we have ever seen, and a strong believer of positive thinking & will power.

We hope that you remember her joys of giving, her gratitude, her steadfastness... And that we would never forget this fighting spirit that spurs us to put in our best; at the same time, be thankful for whatever we get.

This shall be the strength that remains in all of us.

感谢你们今天和我们陪着妈妈走这最后的旅程。在哀悼失去她的同时，让我们一起纪念她对生命的热枕。

妈妈是个非常乐观, 热情和好玩的人。她更乐于, 善于助人。虽然这段在医疗的时间有些辛苦，但她还是勇敢地面对。更不忘了安抚身边的每一个人。

我们希望她这积极的人生态度能成为一份推动力。给我们力量 ... 顺利地过着没有她的日子。
