Motherhood really puts one to her limits and brings out the best in her. And being a mum makes one appreciates her own better.
I don't recall I had ever given Mum a hug or told her I love her. And there isn't any chance anymore. Mum remains an epitome of strength, courage & humility all these years, not just to me, but to my children. Just last week, son asked if he will see ah-ma again in heaven coz he misses her too. Whenever we speak about positivity and optimism, we spoke about how she fought for her life in illness; and how she continued to live life to the fullest.
Thank God that my children give me hugs and words of 'I love you' each day. Yes, I should remind myself not to always remind them one shouldn't put words of love on the mouth but in his actions each time they hug or kiss me or say love me. It's really quite a cold blanket. Lol ... So I should just enjoy the little moments, and 'chillax'!
And certainly, I wanna thank God that Mum continued to be an influence in our lives despite she had passed on for 7 years. May the angels give her a hug and say 'I love you' on all our behalf. Thank you, and love you, Mum! ❤️
